Church Ministry Teams
God's vision for New Nation Church is to empower 10,000 families to prosper and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. At New Nation, everyone contributes to that vision... even you.

God is changing lives every week at New Nation Church, and behind every touched life are the faces of our Ministry Teams. Whether it is helping guests find a great parking spot, holding an infant, operating in the sound booth or anything in between; our Ministry Teams are connectors to the flow of worship here at New Nation Church.

There is no greater joy than knowing you are used by God in a way that makes a lasting impact on others. Go ahead and jump on a Ministry Team and become a part of what God is doing through New Nation. It's a decision you won't regret!

So we though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.
Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given us, let us exercise them.

Prayer Team
Intercessors: The intercessors lead prayer services and pray with people during and at the end of our services. An intercessor has had an personal encounter with God through prayer and has a consistent prayer life. Intercessors also have a deep desire to pray with and for others.

Prayer Chain: Our Prayer chain is made up of volunteers who pray for the urgent needs or concerns of members, the church, and the community. The Prayer Chain Ministry consist of 10 or more individuals who form a network of prayer via phone after receiving word of a prayer request brought to the church office.
Prayer Group: Is a focused Prayer Group that prays for the needs of the church. The Prayer Group prays for any needs that Pastor or First Lady has expressed; they pray for Sunday Service, Wednesday night service, and various events and conferences of the church.
Worship Team
Greeters: The Greeter's Ministry is one of the simplest yet most important positions in our church ministry. The team's goal is to share a kind word, open a door, offer a handshake, or just lend a helping hand to people who enter the church.
Ushers: The Usher Ministry allows people to get involved in the worship service; ushers meet the congregation and usher them to their seats, provide service protocol, collect church offering, and help in emergencies.
Praise Team: Ministry to the lord comes before anything else. The "first love" is for God. Praise is a calling given to every believer.
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him, God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth". John 4:23-24

Fellowship Team
​
Little Light of Promise: Ministry for toddlers from nursery age to 4 years old.
​
Children of Promise: Ministry to children from 5 years old to 11 years old. Children's church is held in the children's area, every Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m.
Daughter of Thirst Quenchers: A mentor ministry to help girls grow in their spiritual walk. DOTQ provides an environment of support and accountability while helping the girls develop their gifts and abilities. Lifelong relationships are built with the girls; the mentors encourage the girls to become spiritual leaders. For ages 8-18.

Joshua Generation II /Joshua Generation: Ministry for youth in middle school and high school.
​
Women of Thirst Quenchers: A ministry designed to meet the relational and ministry needs of women from all walks of life, interest, and generations.
​
Man of Image: A ministry designed to create a strong bond of brotherhood and solidarity among the men of New Nation Church; for men of all walks of life.
​
Son of Image: A mentor ministry to help boys grow in their spiritual walk. The reason being, boys need men to teach, instruct, encourage and support them through their transition from childhood to young teens, to young adults. For ages 8-18.
​
Married Ministry: A ministry to serve married couples; workshops, retreats, and programs are helpful resources and used for growth and empowerment.
​
Single's Ministry: A ministry to serve Single's; workshops, retreats, and programs are helpful resources and used for growth and empowerment.
Education Team
Pathway to Purpose: Pathway to Purpose is a new membership class designed to introduce you and show you how our church vision, mission, and purpose equips you to live life in such a way that God is glorified and you are blessed to live life free of stress, strain, and worry. You are not just joining a church but a relationship with God and your faith family. All new members are strongly encouraged to attend (P2P) Pathway to Purpose; when you join the church you will be given an appointment card letting you know when the class begins.

Sunday School: Sunday school provides classes to help minister holistically to the needs of God's people. Sunday school classes are available for all ages at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday.

Evangelism Team
Bridge Events: The Bridge Events Ministry is a means to evangelize and bring together the community of unbelievers and the church. These Bridge Events consist of our Labor Day Bar-B-Q, Hallelujah Night (Halloween), our Community Outreach, and our Christmas Toy's Giveaway.
​
Publications: New Nation strives to promote ministry opportunities in creative and colorful ways. Printed material is just one way we achieve that goal. The church publishes material such as, church newsletter, flyers, thank you cards, children and youth curriculum, etc.
​
Public Relations Ministry: The Public Relations Ministry is responsible for maintaining the church's website and social media pages, like Facebook and YouTube.
